How it started
In 2010, a fire destroyed our founder Daan's home in Amsterdam. He suddenly had to rely on the people around him for everything. A place to sleep, things to use. What surprised him wasn't just that almost everyone was willing to help. It was that asking for help actually made his relationships stronger. That simple idea became Peerby.
