Rent art supplies from your neighbors
Since you can’t really borrow a canvas, you can rent one 16x24 canvas forever for one down payment of 7 dollars.
I have like ten or so brushes, low-mid grade, for acrylic available for borrowing. I have four or five brushes for latex paint available for borrowing.
